Darrion Mohan: New PADI Divemaster from Singapore
We are thrilled to announce the recent success of Darrion Mohan from Singapore, who has just completed his PADI Divemaster program with TopSub Dive School / TopSub Academy Roatan. Darrion's journey began at the end of last month when he traveled to Roatan with the ambition of starting a new career in diving. His dedication and enthusiasm have been truly inspiring.

An Intense and Rewarding Training Program
Over the past few weeks, Darrion has undergone an intensive and highly productive training program. His hands-on experience included assisting Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) students in our saltwater pool and participating in open water dives in the Marine Park. Additionally, Darrion was involved in a challenging PADI Public Safety Diving program, which included training eight new PADI Open Water Divers and Advanced Open Water Divers. His role in this program showcased his versatility and ability to handle diverse diving scenarios.

Expanding Skills with Specialized Training
Darrion's training extended beyond traditional Divemaster duties. He took part in several specialized activities that enriched his experience:
Try Dives: Darrion assisted with introductory dives, providing new divers with their first taste of the underwater world and ensuring they had a safe and enjoyable experience.
Intro to Technical Diving (Tec Diving): He explored the basics of technical diving, learning about the advanced equipment and procedures used in more complex dive scenarios.
Freediving: Darrion had the opportunity to experience freediving, which involves diving without tanks and relying solely on breath-holding techniques, enhancing his overall diving skills.
Introduction to Full Face Masks: He familiarized himself with full face masks, which offer a different breathing experience and are essential for certain types of diving.
Side Mount Diving: Darrion also explored side mount diving, a configuration that provides greater flexibility and streamlines the diving experience by placing tanks on the sides.
Boat Handling: Darrion learn how to operate a dive boat.
Guiding and Mentoring Divers
Darrion's role extended beyond assisting with training programs. He guided both inexperienced and experienced divers on various types of dives, including reef dives, wreck dives, and deep dives. His motivation and willingness to improve himself, coupled with his unique charisma, made the training process enjoyable for both TopSub Dive School's staff and clients.
Achieving the PADI Divemaster Certification
Yesterday, we proudly celebrated Darrion's successful completion of the PADI Divemaster program. His hard work and dedication have earned him the well-deserved PADI Divemaster eCard, officially marking his new status as a PADI Divemaster.
